Frequently Asked Questions
Is acupuncture safe?
Only sterilized, disposable, one-time-use acupuncture needles are used. As a licensed practitioner, Marty pursued comprehensive training to provide safe, accurate implementation of this modality.
The World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) concluded that acupuncture and other modalities of Traditional Chinese Medicine can effectively treat a wide array of acute and chronic health conditions and provide palliative care.

Do you accept insurance?
Reasonable documentation will be provided to help you receive payment from an insurer. Marty
does not accept payment directly from a third-party.
From Marty's perspective, there is an energetic exchange that occurs between a client and healer when payment is made for services renderedone that is most important to you. The full benefits of treatment may not fully manifest without the client offering what they can to the practitioner and therefore, to their own healing process.
In Marty's view, a third party, direct-to-practitioner payer such as an insurance company, MCO or HMO interferes with that exchange. Their primary obligation is to shareholders. The notion that insurers represent patients or practitioners rings to him as false and undermining of the goals of true healing.
For those in need, he is willing to negotiate a fee for treatment.
